FLETCHER PLACES ALUM DAVE PAVLIK IN KEY SALES POSITION AT CANON
Equipment Vendor Known for Industry Education and Placement
(Chicago) Longtime Fletcher employee Dave Pavlik has been named the new Regional Sales Manager for Canon USA. With his current employer's blessing and in fact at their suggestion, Pavlik will move over to Canon on October 1st.
"I know that in a world of fierce competition it's rare when a vendor promotes one of its own stars to another company, says Tom Fletcher, VP/Marketing. "However, when Larry Thorpe, National Marketing Executive for Canon USA and one of our key manufacturers approached me searching for outstanding candidates, I had to suggest Dave. Dave's a superb individual who has grown with Fletcher through the past twelve years and has gone as far as he can at our company. The new position at Canon USA will allow him to move to the next level in his career."
According to Pavlik, "Fletcher's attitude is definitely a twist on the norm, but something employees at the company have known to be part of their culture. They're leaders in industry education and enhancement programs and this support is a prime example."
Fletcher's unique system has served other key alumni over the years including Kevin O'Connor who is now Regional Account Manager for Sony and Sharon Walker who is currently with Panavision. (See List Below)
As an employer, Fletcher can claim a low turn-over rate with over 20% of its current employees having been with the company ten years or more and the rest made up of a crop of new, young talent.
